Texas A&M University's New Mobile Website: m.tamu.edu

A couple months ago I began work on the Texas A&M University homepage. I had been contacting the trademarks office beforehand about developing a Texas A&M application for the Blackberry. I envisioned creating a Bus Route application so students could find out when and where their next bus would be available. This in turn landed me the webmaster position I have now. In a small office, consisting of me and four other very talented programmers and designers, we began analyzing the "next step" in bringing this information to the public. We decided that developing a mobile website would be the most efficient way to deliver this information since none of the individual projects required high end graphics. Let the host server do the work, so anyone with a web enabled phone can see what they need. m.tamu.edu was then born. Below is a video I created that highlights the many features of this expanding product.
